Woman Pronounced Dead at Scene in Possilpark

A woman has died after being found unresponsive in a parked car in Glasgow. Police Scotland are treating the death as unexplained. The incident occurred on Sunnylaw Street in the Possilpark area at approximately 11.15pm on Wednesday, 24 June 2026.

Emergency services attended the scene, but despite their best efforts, the 50-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.

Police Investigation Underway

Police Scotland have cordoned off the area as investigations continue. A police spokesperson said: 'Around 11.15pm on Wednesday, 24 June, 2026, we received a report of an unresponsive woman in a vehicle on Sunnylaw Street in Glasgow. Emergency services attended however the 50-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin is aware. The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.'
