A second boy has been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of a 17-year-old in south-west London. The 15-year-old suspect, who cannot be named due to his age, is scheduled to appear at Ealing Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, facing charges of murder and possession of a knife.

Jamal Coombes, 17, was discovered with serious injuries after Metropolitan Police officers responded to reports on Glycena Road, Battersea, at approximately 4:20 am on Saturday. Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance provided treatment at the scene, but Coombes was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
Other Suspects and Legal Proceedings
A second suspect, a 14-year-old boy, faces identical charges and is due to appear at the Old Bailey on Thursday. Additionally, a boy and a girl, both aged 15, who were arrested on suspicion of murder on Saturday, have been released on bail pending further investigation.
