Police have sealed off a home in County Durham after what they describe as a 'very serious incident' in Peterlee. Multiple emergency service vehicles are currently at the scene on Passfield Way, where a forensics tent has also been erected. The incident prompted a significant response from both police and ambulance services.
Emergency Response
Several police vehicles are present, and the North East Ambulance Service dispatched multiple resources shortly after 7am on 13 June. A spokesperson for the ambulance service confirmed that a double crewed ambulance, a clinical team leader, a rapid response paramedic, and a specialist paramedic were all sent to the scene.

Images from the scene show a police cordon in place around the property, with a forensics tent set up nearby. The nature of the incident has not yet been officially disclosed, but authorities have described it as 'very serious'.
