West Yorkshire Police were called to the Asda petrol station on Rooley Lane in Bradford at around 6.20am today (17 August) following a report of a concern for welfare. Officers attended the scene along with ambulance crews, and the petrol station was closed to customers while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Death treated as unexplained
Police have now confirmed that a man in his 40s was sadly found dead. His death is currently being treated as unexplained, and enquiries are ongoing.

A man in his 40s was sadly found dead and his death is being treated as unexplained. Enquiries are ongoing."
Emergency response
The area was attended by multiple emergency service vehicles during the morning, with reports of four police vehicles and an ambulance at the petrol station. Yorkshire Ambulance Service also confirmed that its crews attended Rooley Lane.
A spokesperson for Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: "Ambulance resources responded to an incident on Rooley Lane in Bradford this morning (17 August)."
The force has not released any further information about the circumstances surrounding the man's death.
