A man has been charged with murder following the death of Dean Fishwick in Peterlee on Wednesday night. Kenneth Fishwick, 53, of Peterlee, was charged after Mr Fishwick, 51, was found with stab wounds at an address in Thames Road shortly before midnight.
Charged and due in court
Mr Fishwick was taken to hospital but died shortly afterwards. Durham Constabulary has confirmed that Kenneth Fishwick has been charged with murder and was due to appear at Teesside Magistrates' Court on Saturday morning.
Other arrests and appeal
A 73-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of murder has been bailed, while a 77-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder has been released under investigation, police confirmed.
