King Charles won't fund Andrew's judicial review, sources say

King Charles will not fund Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's court case against the police, palace sources confirmed on Monday. Though the monarch provides private funds for his brother, Charles has made it clear that none of this money should be spent on the judicial review.

Andrew's legal action over arrest

Andrew is taking legal action against Thames Valley Police over his arrest earlier this year, with a private hearing taking place at the High Court on Thursday. The former Duke of York was arrested on his 66th birthday in February on suspicion of misconduct in public office following allegations he shared sensitive information with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein during his time as the UK's trade envoy.

He was interviewed under caution and released under investigation after being held in custody for 11 hours.

Titles stripped and move to Sandringham

Andrew, who was stripped of his titles and forced to move to the Sandringham estate over his connections to Epstein, has now asked a judge to determine if the force's action was lawful.
