CCTV Released After Altrincham Attack: Police Seek Two Men

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have released a CCTV image of two men who may hold crucial information following an assault in Altrincham. The attack took place at approximately 1.55am on Saturday, May 30, at a venue on Goose Green, where a man was allegedly assaulted by two male offenders.

Police Appeal for Information

The image was released on the evening of June 25 via social media, accompanied by an appeal for the public’s help. A GMP spokesperson stated: "Officers are appealing for information following an alleged assault last month. The incident took place at around 1.55am on Saturday, May 30, at a venue on Goose Green, Altrincham, where a man was believed to have been assaulted by two males."

The force emphasized that the two individuals pictured are not necessarily suspects but are believed to be able to assist with the investigation. The spokesperson added: "Officers would like to speak to the two men pictured as we believe they may be able to assist with enquiries."

Anyone who recognizes the men or has any details about the incident is urged to contact GMP on 101, quoting log number 348 of 30/05/2026. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. The police have not disclosed the nature of the injuries sustained by the victim but have confirmed that the investigation is ongoing.
