Body found in search for missing Dundee man Kyle Cormack

A body has been discovered in the search for Kyle Cormack, a 35-year-old man reported missing in Dundee. He was last seen in the Scott Court area of the city at around 6.30am on Saturday.

Police confirmed on Sunday that a body was found in Caird Park. Formal identification has not yet taken place, but Mr Cormack's family has been informed. Authorities stated there appear to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

Police statement

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "On the afternoon of Sunday, June 7, 2026, the body of a man was found in the Caird Park area of Dundee. Formal identification has yet to take place, however, the family of 35-year-old Kyle Cormack, who had been reported missing from the area, has been informed. There would not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
