Man Critical After Fall at Salford Tower Block

A man is fighting for his life in hospital after falling from a height at a Salford high-rise building. The incident occurred at Adelphi Court in the Blackfriars area of the city at around 1:10 am on Wednesday, June 17.

Police Investigation Underway

Officers attended the scene on Cannon Street and found a man in his 30s with serious injuries consistent with a fall from height. He was taken to hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.

Arrests Made

A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) and possession of Class A drugs, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police (GMP) confirmed. A 43-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of assault causing GBH and possession of an offensive weapon.

Both men remain in custody. Officers are continuing their investigation to determine the cause of the incident, the spokesperson added.
