A 30-year-old motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital with serious and potentially life-threatening injuries following a single-vehicle crash on the A487 at Blaenplwyf, near Aberystwyth, on Saturday morning, July 11.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 7am. The crash involved a blue Suzuki motorcycle. The rider, a 30-year-old man, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital, where he remains. His family are being supported by specialist officers.
