Josh Roberts, a 30-year-old father from Monmouthshire, died in hospital following a collision between his electric bicycle and a bus on the A48 near Chepstow. The crash occurred on Tuesday, July 7, at approximately 5:55 am, prompting a response from emergency services including the Wales Air Ambulance.
Family pays tribute to 'loveable rogue'
Mr Roberts was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries but died on Saturday, July 11. His family released a statement describing him as the 'most amazing daddy' and a 'loveable rogue'. They said: 'We as a family are absolutely heartbroken over the death of Josh who was the most amazing daddy, son, grandson, brother, and uncle.'
The tribute continued: 'Everyone who knew Josh knew he always had the cheekiest of smiles and was known as a “loveable rogue”. He touched the hearts of so many people and was so loved.'
Investigation ongoing
