Unity Beach's New Lido
Unity Beach's new lido opened earlier this month, unveiled by former Olympic swimmer Baroness Sharron Davies MBE. The resort's £11 million transformation includes a lido with a capacity of over 400, two heated pools including one for children, plus an indoor pool, indoor splash zone for under-16s, two indoor water slides, and three outdoor slides.
Baroness Sharron said: "At a time when we are seeing the amount of swimming facilities in the country dwindle – we’ve lost 500 since 2010 - to have Unity Holidays investing millions in pools and lidos across the country, and creating jobs for local people, is tremendous."
