Tŷ Milford Waterfront: Pembrokeshire hotel with marina views

Tŷ Milford Waterfront, one of Pembrokeshire's largest hotels, offers 100 bedrooms, a glass-fronted seafood restaurant and marina views, with a seasonal offer of free child stays from £74 per room per night between 13 July and 1 September 2026.

The four-star hotel, which opened in 2022, sits overlooking Milford Marina in the harbour town of Milford Haven. It is managed by the team behind the Celtic Manor Resort and forms part of The Celtic Collection's Tŷ Hotels family, in partnership with the Port of Milford Haven.

The 46,000 sq ft property spans four floors of contemporary bedrooms with views across Milford Marina. All rooms include free wifi, complimentary parking, tea- and coffee-making facilities, Elemis toiletries and a 43in TV. Since opening, the hotel has been crowned Hotel of the Year at the Visit Pembrokeshire - Trade Croeso Awards in 2024. It is one of Pembrokeshire's largest hotels and is described as surprisingly affordable, especially for families.

Dulse restaurant and dining

The Dulse restaurant and bar, named after Pembrokeshire's edible seaweed, serves some of the best seafood in the county. Executive head chef Simon Crockford has cooked for US President Barack Obama at the 2014 Nato Summit and Tiger Woods at the 2010 Ryder Cup.

Typical dishes include whole Tiger prawns, seafood chowder, mussels of the day, lamb rump, vegetable risotto and market fish in Tenby Harbwr beer batter. Over the summer, the restaurant hosts Tŷ-Side Fridays with a resident DJ, crafted cocktails and light bites from the Tŷ Airstream on the terrace.

Exploring Milford Haven and nearby attractions

Milford Haven, formed by a ria or drowned valley, is one of the deepest natural harbours in the world and remains Wales' largest fishing port. The waterfront has undergone a multi-million-pound redevelopment and now features indie shops, restaurants and the Milford Haven Museum, which covers the Nantucket Quaker Whalers and the fishing industry.

At Milford Beach Activity Centre, visitors can try stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking from the Hot Water Slip, with guided tours of the estuary. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path stretches 186 miles along the coastline, with a popular route from Milford Haven to Dale passing coves, beaches and villages. Nearby beaches include Marloes Sands, Dale Beach and Broad Haven Beach.
