The Warren, an underground 'hobbit house' on the north side of Loch Tay, has been named the Daily Record's Airbnb of the Week. Styled after the homes of the fictional hobbit species from J. R. R. Tolkien's novels, the two-bedroom property sleeps up to four people. It was previously named the fifth best Airbnb in the UK by The Times in 2024.

One recent guest wrote on Airbnb: "The Warren is, without a doubt, the most magical place I have ever stayed. There is nothing like it: the running brook in front, the living roof with the backdrop of the Highland mountains, the stunning interior, the spacious and comfortable rooms—it’s just perfect." Another guest added: "We loved the Hobbit House! So much fun and very peaceful for a relaxing couple days. My kids loved playing in the stream and we had a beautiful hike down to the lake. Lots of space in the house and the hot tub is a nice touch. The host was great and sent us recommendations as well!"
