Xbox has confirmed that eight more games will leave Game Pass next week, bringing the total number of titles removed from the service in July to 19. The games are scheduled for removal on July 31, 2026, giving subscribers just over a week to finish or try them before they disappear.

The eight games set to be removed are: My Friendly Neighborhood, Sniper Elite: Resistance, Crusader Kings 3, Wisherwood, Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord, Back to the Dawn, Rain World, and Celeste. Earlier this month, Xbox fans already said goodbye to titles such as Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Stellaris, Dungeons of Hinterburg, and PowerWash Simulator.
Impact on Subscribers
While losing access to games mid-play can be disappointing, it is a standard part of the subscription model. The removals make room for new additions to the service. Next week, the service will gain Halo Campaign Evolved, a complete remake of the original Halo game built in Unreal Engine 5. Xbox is also expected to announce the August lineup of new games soon.
Notable Departures
Celeste, the acclaimed 2D platformer from 2017, is among the departing titles. The game tasks players with scaling a mountain and is praised for its precise movement mechanics. Other notable departures include the strategy game Crusader Kings 3 and the sniper-focused shooter Sniper Elite: Resistance.
