Rockstar Games has announced an Ultimate Edition for Grand Theft Auto 6 ahead of pre-orders opening on Thursday, June 25. The standard edition is priced at $79.99 in the US, which is expected to translate to approximately £74.99 in the UK, matching the price of Mario Kart World. The Ultimate Edition costs $99.99 in the US, likely around £100 in the UK. Notably, the physical edition will contain only a download code, with no disc included.
Pre-Order Details and Timing
Pre-orders for GTA 6 will begin at midnight local time on June 25, according to Rockstar. The phrasing is ambiguous, but it is assumed to mean late on June 24 (tonight) rather than late on June 25. The start time suggests that a new trailer will not debut alongside pre-orders, though Rockstar may still have a surprise in store.
Ultimate Edition Contents
The Ultimate Edition includes several in-game DLC extras: the ’95 Grotti Cheetah (a Ferrari-like vehicle), a Hawk & Little Morgan revolver, personalised sidearms for protagonists Lucia and Jason, exclusive outfits and tattoos for the pair, extra vehicles at Jason’s safehouse (Dinka Enduro motorcycle and Crest kayak), exclusive mods for Jason’s Vapid Ganado pickup, a Squalo speedboat with an explosives-laden weapon crate, and a ’67 Vapid Dominator buggy stored at Paradise Garage in Watson Bay. Players can also customise vehicle interiors, rims, and other elements—a feature exclusive to the Ultimate Edition, presumably accessed via a specialist car garage. Additionally, a signature salon allows changes to Jason’s facial hair and Lucia’s makeup and nails, along with access to an exclusive clothes shop called Stock 305.
Pre-Order Bonuses
All pre-orders include the Vintage Vice City Pack, which adds a 1950s sedan, a garage at Ocean Beach, retro outfits, hairstyles, and weapon patterns for Jason and Lucia, plus a one-month subscription to GTA+. No super deluxe edition with physical collectibles has been announced for this week’s pre-orders.
