Following the latest Galaxy Unpacked event this week, Samsung fans are being treated to a range of new tech products, all with a variety of brand-new features. This includes the latest iteration of Samsung's foldable lineup - the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra.
Being hailed by Samsung as its thinnest foldable phone ever made, there are plenty of reasons for fans to want to get their hands on it. Despite this, the lowest cost to get the phone through Samsung itself is £1,899 for the 256GB option and as much as £2,319 for the 1TB option, making it an especially premium-priced device.
Shoppers could pre-order the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra for as low as £32.83 a month or the new standard Z Fold8 for as low as £27.34. A number of mobile phone carriers are offering a variety of the newest Samsung devices announced at Galaxy Unpacked with a more affordable deal.
Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra - From £32.83 a month
Vodafone is giving customers the chance to get the Z Fold8 Ultra for as low as £32.83 a month with a £60 upfront cost, with the provider stating customers could save as much as £1,750 in total in some cases. The provider said customers could save up to £576 on Airtime plans and up to £162 on the device itself. An additional £1,012 can be saved when an eligible device is traded in, though the actual amount saved will vary depending on the device. The device prices are part of a 36-month contract, which in total costs upwards of £51 a month, while an unlimited Airtime plan can be grabbed for £24 a month on a 24-month contract.
Galaxy Z Fold8 - From £27.34 a month
Vodafone is also running a similar deal with the Galaxy Z Fold8, with the phone being offered from £27.34 a month with a £50 upfront cost. A 36-month Phone Plan will cost users £46.50 a month, while an unlimited 24-month Airtime plan can cost £24 a month. The Z Fold8 shares many features with the Ultra variant, but comes with a smaller 5.5-inch cover display and 7.6-inch main display. It also has a slightly less powerful battery at 4,800mAh that can provide up to 26 hours of video playback.
Galaxy Z Fold8 with Unlimited data - £63 a month
O2 is offering the Galaxy Z Fold8 pre-order with its pre-built plans, which include unlimited data, calls, and texts for £63 with a £30 upfront payment. The plan is part of a 36-month contract and could also see customers save up to £1,313 on certain tariffs when trading in an eligible device from now until September 2.
Galaxy Z Flip8 - Up to £653 off
Samsung itself is allowing customers to save up to £553 on its latest Galaxy Z Flip8 when trading in an eligible smartphone, alongside an extra £100 off when using the code Z8 at checkout. The Z Flip8 is the latest iteration of Samsung's 'clamshell' design and comes with a 4.1-inch cover display alongside a 6.9-inch main display. The phone is also equipped with a 50MP wide camera and a 12MP ultrawide camera. It also comes with a 4,300mAh battery that Samsung says can provide up to 31 hours of video playback.
Galaxy Watch9 - From £13.50 a month
Vodafone is giving customers the chance to pre-order the latest Galaxy Watch9 from £13.50 a month with a £50 upfront cost. These prices are based on a 24-month Watch Plan at £8 a month and a Smartwatch Connectivity Plan at £5.50 a month. The Galaxy Watch9 comes with a comfortable cushion design and is capable of monitoring a wide variety of health metrics alongside real-time fitness tracking.
