Arsenal Transfer News: Bouaddi Stance, Trossard Bid

Arsenal are yet to make any new signings this summer, but the Gunners are working hard behind the scenes to secure several arrivals before the transfer window closes. Mikel Arteta is eager to strengthen in central midfield, left wing and striker, potentially spending close to the record £250 million invested last year.

Ayyoub Bouaddi's Transfer Stance

Arsenal target Ayyoub Bouaddi will only consider clubs this summer who can guarantee him a "key role", according to The Athletic. The Lille midfielder, 18, has been linked with Arsenal and Real Madrid, and is currently representing Morocco at the World Cup, where his performances have caught the eye.

Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta had already made inroads with Bouaddi's representatives, with discussions dating back to the beginning of the year. Berta recognises Bouaddi as a world-class talent but would need to assure him of regular playing time to persuade him to leave Lille, who qualified for the Champions League this season.

Approach Made for Leandro Trossard

Saudi Pro League outfit Al Diraiyah have reportedly tabled a £17 million bid for Leandro Trossard. The 31-year-old has previously been linked with an exit from north London, with the Gunners prioritising a new left-sided winger this summer.

According to Belgian publication Het Nieuwsblad, Al-Diraiyah have expressed interest in signing Trossard and approached Arsenal with a £17 million proposal. The club's sporting director Dougie Freedman views the Belgium international, currently at the World Cup, as a prime target.

They are prepared to offer Trossard, who has only 12 months remaining on his contract, a deal worth nearly £9 million a year if he signals willingness to relocate to the Middle East—described as a 'monster' offer. Aston Villa, Besiktas and Newcastle United have also been linked with Trossard, who has scored 36 goals and provided 34 assists in 174 appearances for Arsenal.
