The White Company's summer sale has reduced many of its signature candles to under £20, with prices slashed by up to 40% off. Fragrance fans can find scents like Capri, Fresh Grapefruit, Spa Retreat, and Cassis significantly reduced.
Capri and Cassis Candles on Sale
The Capri Signature Candle (140g) has been reduced from £25 to £17.50, saving shoppers £7.50. With notes of watermelon, cucumber, and basil, it evokes a sunny Italian garden. Shoppers say it "lingers for a good length of time" and has a burn time of approximately 30 hours, making it a "wonderful present."
The Cassis Large Candle (710g) has been reduced from £65 to £45.50, saving nearly £20. The four-wick candle features warming notes of cassis, blackberry, and cedar, making it a transitional option into autumn. According to fans, the Cassis candle is rarely available online. One shopper said: "This is my favourite candle fragrance and I was so disappointed when it was discontinued! Was absolutely delighted when it appeared on sale on line recently. Please reinstate it!"

Various fragrance oils are reduced to £6 (from £15), including Primrose Hill and Provence variations. Reed diffusers are £24.50 (down from £34), and luxury home sprays are £14 (instead of £20).
For a cheaper option, Marks & Spencer offers Apothecary candles at £10 with approximately 32 hours of burn time. The Calm Refillable Scented Candle has warm amber notes suitable for the bedroom.
