Sky cuts Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra 5G to £30 a month

Sky has cut the price of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra 5G with Galaxy AI to £30 per month, down from £34, with an upfront payment of £12. The deal is available ahead of Black Friday.

The tablet is designed to handle streaming, gaming, creative projects and productivity. The offer is based on a 48-month credit agreement, meaning shoppers commit to four years of monthly payments totalling £1,452 over the contract, excluding the separate data plan.

Mobile data savings

Sky is also offering 1GB of mobile data for £1 per month for 24 months, compared with its usual £8 monthly price after the promotional period. This brings the initial combined cost of the tablet and data plan to £31 per month, plus the £12 upfront payment.

Shoppers who prefer a shorter commitment can opt for a 36-month device payment plan. This raises the cost slightly, with the tablet deal rising to £40 per month before adding a data plan.

Tablet features

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra 5G features a 14.6-inch AMOLED screen, is 5.1mm thick and weighs 695g, with a durable aluminium frame and water and dust resistance. It is powered by an eight-core processor and 12GB or 16GB of RAM, depending on the model.

The 256GB version supports microSD cards up to 2TB, while the battery offers up to 23 hours of video playback. The tablet supports 5G, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth, and comes with an S Pen stylus. Samsung's Galaxy AI tools can help summarise information, improve writing and organise notes, while Google's Gemini assistant offers additional help.

For work, Samsung DeX provides a desktop-style experience. The tablet runs Android 16, with seven years of operating system and security updates promised. It is available in Grey or Silver.

Shopper feedback

Shoppers who already own the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra 5G have given the tablet a 4.4 out of five-star rating on the Samsung website. One buyer said: "The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is everything I wanted and need it to be. The larger screen makes it easier to work on than the smaller one I had previously."

Another said: "The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra 5G is my first-ever tablet, and I can confidently say—I don’t regret this purchase one bit. It’s a powerful, beautifully designed device that’s elevated both my work and personal life."

Not all buyers were impressed, with one noting: "Amazing screen and AI features. Samsung have removed Bluetooth features from the S Pen, so you're not able to use the pen as a remote when watching Netflix. Preferred functionality on S8 Ultra tab. Premium pricing but reducing features. No vibrate function either."

A different tech-lover left a glowing five-star review that said: "Tablet of very good quality, very powerful and pleasant to use. Long battery life, high-quality screen. With the keyboard case, I work on it as on a laptop."
