Pringles has launched its first major redesign in the brand's history, with personalised Christmas tubes now available first at Tesco stores across the UK. The new-look packaging is hitting supermarket shelves this week, marking a significant change for the crisp brand.
Pringles is the UK's best-selling large sharing crisp brand, shifting more than 157 million tubes every year, according to Vantage Kellogg. Parent company Kellanova confirms that Original and Sour Cream & Onion continue to be the world's most beloved flavours.
Personalised names and nicknames
Shoppers can now buy tubes featuring some of the UK's most popular first names, along with a selection of family titles and nicknames. For those buying for loved ones whose names are not included, Pringles has printed a range of titles and monikers, including 'Mum', 'Dad', 'Nan', 'Bro', and 'Bestie'.
The personalised designs have been rolled out across four flagship Pringles flavours: Original, Salt & Vinegar, Texas BBQ Sauce, and Sour Cream & Onion. Pringles enthusiasts can get their hands on 78 different names, plus nicknames like Grandad, Nan, 'Bestie', Mate, Queen, King, 'Sis', 'Bro' and 'Babes'.
Festive flavours return
The redesigned tubes have been introduced first in Tesco stores throughout the UK, with a broader launch to other leading supermarkets planned over the next few weeks. Along with the packaging overhaul, Pringles has announced the nationwide comeback of its limited-edition festive flavours.
Shoppers can once more snap up the popular Pigs in Blankets flavour—one of last year's most successful seasonal offerings—alongside Baked Cheese Garlic & Herbs, created to capture the taste of baked cheese in a crisp. Both seasonal varieties are on shelves now.
