Luxury leather brand Mulberry is set to open its first dedicated store in Liverpool, taking up a unit in the recently renovated Keys Court at Liverpool ONE. The brand, known for its stylish handbags and totes, has long been sought after by the shopping complex.
Keys Court transformation
The Keys Court units have been redeveloped into a dual-side arcade with three independent premises. British jewellery brand Monica Vinader was the first to open, followed by footwear and fashion brand Foot Locker, which later closed its two-story store on South John Street in 2024.
Mulberry is currently stocked in Flannels on Parker Street and John Lewis, but this will be the luxury label's first standalone branch in the city.
Long-term target tenant
Rob Deacon, director asset manager of Landsec, Liverpool ONE, said: "The vinyl is up confirming that Mulberry will finally be arriving in Liverpool for the first time later this year, joining the evolving line up on Keys Court alongside Monica Vinader and another soon to be announced brand."
He added: "Mulberry has been a long term target tenant for the scheme and a big thanks to everybody who has played their part in making this happen." An opening date is yet to be announced.
Other arrivals at Liverpool ONE
Liverpool ONE recently confirmed the opening date of the first UK Lefties store. Lefties, whose parent company Inditex also owns Zara, Bershka, Stradivarius and Pull&Bear, will open on South John Street across two floors on Thursday, August 27. The 35,000 sq ft flagship store will stock women's, men's, teen, kids, baby, newborn, home, accessories and footwear collections.
Brendan Hattam, centre director at Liverpool ONE, said: "We're incredibly proud to be home to the very first Lefties store in the UK. It speaks volumes that Lefties, part of the Inditex group, has chosen Liverpool ONE as its first site in the UK – our stand-out retail, leisure and hospitality offering located in the heart of the city is a major pull for leading international brands."
The Lefties store will feature smart fitting rooms with an automated clothes sorter, robotic hanger sorters, and radio-frequency identification-assisted checkouts, eliminating the need to scan each item individually.
Fashion retailer ARNE has also revealed plans to open a new dining facility, Cafe ARNE. The brand's debut physical store opened in Peter's Lane in September, alongside ARNE's Bites, an in-house food and drink concept offering what the owners describe as "some of the best ice cream and milkshakes you'll taste".
