Marks and Spencer has released a new sparkly knitted top priced at £18 that can be worn to the office or Christmas parties. The Sparkly Crew Neck Slim Fit Knitted Top is available in green, bronze or navy, in sizes extra small to extra large, all of which are still in stock online.
Design and Versatility
The top features a metallic thread woven through the fabric, catching the light for a subtle shine. Tailored to a slim fit with a crew neck and short sleeves, it can be dressed up or worn with jeans for a laid-back look. A soft, lightweight knit gives it a comfortable feel.
Thanks to its versatile design, the top can be dressed up or down effortlessly. It can be styled with jeans for work or semi-formal occasions, or paired with faux leather jeans, sequin trousers or a satin skirt for dressy parties.
Shopper Reviews
The Sparkly Crew Neck Slim Fit Knitted Top has received five reviews so far. One shopper wrote: "Gorgeous sparkly top, can be worn on any occasion. The quality is fabulous."
Another said: "I bought this on a whim when I walked past it in the shop. I got the bronze one in a medium. I’m a 12 and this is OK. I will be wearing it tucked in or tucked under and it hangs well. Tried it with black pleather trousers and it looks great. Very pleased with it. I will sparkle all the way to Christmas and beyond."
A third reviewer commented: "This is a great jumper that really lifts a basic outfit. It’s got shape and sparkle, what more do you need."
Mixed Feedback
However, not all reviews were positive. One three-star review noted: "A subtle sparkle in the dark green colour which I like. Boxy rather than slim fit on me. The knit is soft and a nice quality but the hems are quite scratchy, particularly noticeable on the neck so not certain whether to keep."
Another three-star review said: "Not a keeper. I had great expectations but quite disappointed. Only offering small or medium - small too small and short with medium too baggy. Tried all the colours. The brown is quite glitzy running through with gold. Blue with touch of silver. Green was predominantly black with touch of green thread. The style is very boxy with sleeves being very short. Wanted it to go with cardigans/ v necks for winter but unsuitable. The blue when came so creased unlikely the folds would come out even with the iron."
