Lidl Giveaway: 5,000 Free Cookies via Lidl Plus App

Lidl is giving away 5,000 free cookies through its Lidl Plus app, with the offer running on a first-come, first-served basis. Shoppers will need to act quickly to secure one of the limited-time treats.

How to Claim the Free Cookie

Customers must enter the code OHMYCOOKIE into the Lidl Plus app from 10am on Friday, November 6. The code unlocks a voucher for a free cookie, redeemable in Lidl stores nationwide until November 13, while stocks last.

A supermarket spokesperson said: "Shoppers must be quick to avoid disappointment, as the offer is available on a first-come first-served basis. While some supermarket shelves might still be looking a little bare, cookie lovers needn't go without, as Lidl is helping to fill the cookie-shaped void with its crumb-believable, award-winning bakery range."

Flavours and Seasonal Additions

Three flavours are included in the giveaway: Triple Chocolate Cookie, White Chocolate Cookie and Milk Chocolate Cookie. Lidl says its regular bakery range includes these cookies for 55p each, so shoppers who miss the free offer can still buy one while available.

Two seasonal additions are planned for Lidl's bakery range later this year. A White Chocolate and Gingerbread Cookie is due to launch on November 19 for 99p, followed by a Half and Half Double Chocolate and Caramel Cookie on December 31, also priced at 99p.

Limited Availability

The promotion follows shoppers sharing their frustration online over empty bakery shelves at another supermarket, with some social media users joking they were experiencing withdrawals from their favourite sweet treat. Lidl is positioning the giveaway as a way to help fill the gap for cookie fans.

Anyone hoping to claim a free cookie should ensure they have access to Lidl Plus before the code becomes available, as the offer is exclusive to the app. With only 5,000 vouchers available and demand likely to be high, waiting until later in the day could mean missing out.
