El Mayor Blanco Tequila has been cut from £32.99 to £27.50 on Amazon, a 17 percent saving, ahead of National Tequila Day on Friday, 24th July. The handcrafted tequila from Jalisco, Mexico, uses 100 percent mature Blue Weber agave and has won multiple international awards.
Perfect for Summer Entertaining
The timing coincides with Bacardi's annual Cocktail Trends Report, which names margaritas among the most sought-after cocktails of 2026. More drinkers are switching from gin and vodka to agave-based drinks. The Gonzalez family, who have produced tequila for four generations, describe the flavour as 'floral with a hint of spice' and highlight its naturally sweet taste without added sugars.

Cocktail Recipes
El Mayor suggests a Blueberry Margarita: combine 50ml El Mayor Blanco Tequila, 20ml fresh lime juice and 20ml blueberry syrup, then strain over fresh ice with a salted rim. For a Sparkling Paloma, mix 50ml El Mayor Reposado with 50ml grapefruit soda and 50ml cava. The Albatross cocktail uses El Mayor Añejo: muddle a demerara sugar cube with three dashes of Angostura bitters, stir with 50ml tequila and ice, strain into a rocks glass, and garnish with orange peel.
