Dunelm has cut the price of its Zoe II Velvet Storage Footstool from £189 to £94.50, a 50% reduction on a bestselling storage solution that shoppers say doubles as extra seating for guests.
The footstool, which carries a near-perfect five-star rating, is available in three colourways: Lagoon Blue, Dark Sage and Navy Blue. Not all colourways have been reduced, however.

Shopper Reviews
The Zoe footstool has an overall rating of 4.8 out of five stars. One five-star reviewer wrote: "My first order and I’m impressed. The footstool is large enough for two people to put their feet up. It looks very expensive and is sturdy too. The only assembly was screwing the feet on. Easy peasy."
A second review said: "Great addition to the sofa we have and just really finishes off the living room beautifully. So much storage inside and we used it as another seat when family come round aswell as storage for blankets."
Another shopper noted: "Lovely foot stool with storage We brought this as needed something long enough for two people to put their feet up and this does the job."
A fourth wrote: "Beautifully made. Extremely comfortable. Lots of compliments." A fifth added: "Good quality and great storage, luxury fabric feel." A sixth said: "Super storage. Great for storing blankets for when the nights get cold."
One shopper was less impressed with the colour, saying: "Lovely storage stool The colour not what I expected it looks more grey than green but apart from that I would recommend."
Another happy reviewer raved: "We bought the ottoman for a place to put shoes in the hall in an attempt to keep them tidy. As we have limited storage it has proved ideal, it’s also very comfortable to sit on and is the cat's favourite place to rest."
Somebody else said: "Bought for my living room and it looks fabulous very well made and great value as looks and feels more expensive."
At over a metre wide (103cm), the footstool is a substantial piece of furniture that may overwhelm smaller living rooms or narrow spaces.
