Disney Store UK outlet opening date set with 40% off

Disney Store has confirmed it will open its first UK outlet store at the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet at Cheshire Oaks on Thursday, November 12 at 11am, with some products priced 40% cheaper.

The new Disney Store Pop-Up will offer savings of up to 40% on selected products, alongside multibuy deals, special offers and new and seasonal full-price merchandise inspired by Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars.

Store details and product range

The 1,300 sq ft store will house everything from toys, apparel and accessories, to stationery, plushies, collectibles and dress-up collections. It will give families and fans another way to shop official Disney merchandise.

Patrick Sager, VP global Disney Store retail and marketing, said: “We’re thrilled to be opening in Cheshire Oaks this autumn. The Disney Store Pop Up will give families and fans another way to shop official merchandise inspired by the stories and characters they love, with new and seasonal products, special offers and a broad range of price points.”

Christmas activities at Cheshire Oaks

The opening coincides with the centre's festive programme, which begins with an official launch featuring Santa's Grand Parade on Friday, November 6. Families visiting can also enjoy the festive ice rink, the Big Wheel and a Winter Village of food huts selling festive food and drink.

The Big Wheel will offer 10-minute flights above the village, while free screenings in the Alpine Lodge will include family favourites Home Alone, Deck the Halls and The Grinch on selected dates.

Kenny Murray, general manager at Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet, said: “We know Christmas can put extra pressure on family budgets, so it matters to us that everyone can enjoy some festive magic without buying a ticket or planning weeks ahead. With Santa’s Grand Parade, festive films, decorations and our walk-through Christmas tree all free to enjoy, families can spend time together and make special memories. We want visitors to come for the Christmas shopping and stay for the experience.”

Expansion of Disney Store in the UK

The Cheshire Oaks opening follows a new Disney Store opening inside Selfridges at the Trafford Centre in September, which will be smaller than the outlet. That store marked the retailer's return to the shopping centre after five years and stocked brand new ranges before anywhere else.

Disney Store currently operates a number of outlet stores across North America. Its wider UK and Ireland retail network includes standalone stores on Oxford Street in London and Grafton Street in Dublin, as well as locations inside Selfridges London and Selfridges Birmingham. Fans can also shop online.
