Cheryl has made her return to screens by recreating her 2009 milk meme to celebrate Tesco launching on Deliveroo. Thousands of Tesco products, from fresh food and groceries to household essentials, are now available on the delivery platform.
Back in her PJs with a brew
In Deliveroo's reprise of the meme, Cheryl is back in her pyjamas, this time holding a brew after getting a fresh pint of milk from Tesco delivered to her door.
Cheryl said: "Who knew a little confession in 2009 would have this kind of shelf life? I can't believe it's still doing the rounds, but we've had a good laugh giving it a glow up all these years later. At least I no longer have that dilemma with Tesco now on Deliveroo - so nothing stands between me and my morning cuppa."
Limited-edition bundle for customers
Suzy McClintock, VP Consumer at Deliveroo, said: "Pop star or not, nobody enjoys nipping to the garage in their PJs for a pint of milk. That's why we've recreated Cheryl's iconic meme, this time with the milk delivered."
To mark the occasion, some customers who ordered Tesco via Deliveroo received a limited-edition Cheryl-Skimmed bundle, complete with teal pyjamas and a ceramic milk jug signed by the pop icon.
