Cadbury Mint Twirl returns to UK at B&M, fans rush to buy

Cadbury's limited-edition Mint Twirl has been spotted on shelves at B&M stores in the UK, marking the bar's first appearance in the country since 2023. The minty variation, which appears to be an Australian import, has prompted fans to rush to the budget homeware retailer to get their hands on it.

The bar has not been seen in the UK since 2023, and its availability appears limited to B&M at the moment. This is a tactic the store has used in the past, importing flavours that are still sold in Australia.

Fans react to the Mint Twirl's return

Over on the NewFoodsUK Instagram, @mitzy1505 wrote: 'Tried one tonight, really minty very nice. 10/10.' Another user, @newbyandrewmichael, commented: 'Now you're talking. It won't be long before it's elsewhere too. We just need a coffee one.' @danielbevisdesign simply proclaimed 'FINALLY.'

However, some shoppers have raised concerns about the bar's size. On Facebook, Diane Hurst pointed out, 'These are nice, but definitely smaller than a normal Twirl,' while Andrew Goodwin said, 'These Australian imports are nice, but cost a mint.'

A busy year for Twirl variations

This is not the first time the Mint Twirl has hit UK shelves. The product is currently showing as unavailable on the Asda website, which is likely a throwback to the last time it was seen in the country.

2026 has been a significant year for Twirl. Earlier this year, the Golden Dipped Twirl arrived in the UK, featuring the classic flaky chocolate filling coated in a layer of smooth, golden, caramelised white chocolate. It proved popular with fans of Caramac. Last year, the brand also unveiled a limited-edition Cadbury Twirl White Dipped, which reminded people of the discontinued Cadbury Snow Flake from the 00s. Like the golden version, it was only around for a short time and in small quantities. Before that, there was also a popular orange version that hit supermarket shelves and has not gone away just yet.

Elsewhere, the legendary Cadbury Dream white chocolate bar has also been spotted back in stores, having originally launched in 2001 before being axed in the UK just 12 months later in 2002. The white chocolate slab continued to be sold consistently in countries like Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa, and it is now back on home soil thanks to B&M. The bar has occasionally reappeared in the UK through imports over the years, and now the original is available again just in time for Christmas stockings.
