B&Q expands same-day delivery to over 100 UK stores

B&Q will offer same-day delivery to retail and trade customers at more than 100 stores. The hardware store has expanded its Deliveroo partnership to more than 100 shops nationwide for retail customers. It has also partnered with TradePoint Express, a same-day delivery service for trade customers, at roughly 120 participating stores.

Delivery options expanded

Customers can now order more than 9,000 home improvement products through Deliveroo, with delivery in as little as 35 minutes. The partnership began in 2024, initially focused on B&Q local stores in London and Brighton before extending to larger London stores, and eventually moving nationwide.

B&Q said the expansion reflects increasing demand for fast access to home improvement essentials for planned and last-minute projects. It builds on recent enhancements to online shopping, such as Marketplace Click + Collect, which allows customers to pick up products in store from third-party retailers.

Amélie Gallichan-Todd, supply and logistics director at B&Q, said: “We're continually evolving the ways customers can shop with B&Q, making it faster and more convenient to access the products they need.

“The launch of TradePoint Express and the expansion of Deliveroo to more than 100 stores are important steps in that journey, giving both trade and retail customers greater flexibility through a range of delivery options designed to suit different project needs.”

They added: "As our customer expectations continue to evolve, we’re focused on making it easier for them to get the right products, exactly when and where they need them."

TradePoint Express details

TradePoint Express, operated in partnership with on-demand courier platform Gophr, means TradePoint members can collect deliveries within as little as two hours at one of more than 120 participating B&Q stores. The service is set to expand to more TradePoint stores later this year, the company added.

John Morgan, director of TradePoint, said the service would help members “spend less time collecting materials and more time focused on the job”.
