Beauty fans are racing to Boots to snap up a luxury makeup edit that gets them £100 worth of free high-end products. The Premium Make Up Edit Beauty Bag is the latest money-saving launch from the health and beauty retailer, and it's packed with a selection of top tier beauty brands for a fraction of the usual price.
What's inside the Boots Premium Make Up Edit Beauty Bag?
Priced at £35, the limited-edition edit contains six products worth £134.95, meaning shoppers save £99.95 - just 5p short of £100. Better still, five of the six products are full size, with the average cost per product working out at £5.83.
The edit includes a mix of skincare and make-up favourites from some of beauty's biggest names, including MAC, Fenty, Clarins, Laura Mercier, Iconic and No7. Everything arrives inside a soft pastel beauty bag, with shoppers able to choose between pink, lilac or green, perfect for holiday packing or nights away.
Top picks and value
Among the top picks inside is MAC's viral MacStack Elevated mascara, which usually costs £27 alone. It features a dual-sided, precision-tip curved brush perfect for creating lifted, volumised lashes, while argan oil helps condition the lashes and give them a fanned-out look.
While some beauty boxes feature a hero product and several smaller-ticket items, that’s certainly not the case here, with the products all holding an RRP between £14 and £29 - no filler items in sight. The Fenty Gloss Bomb Stix is worth £24, while the Iconic London Underglow Blurring Primer is valued at £26.
Full product list
- MAC MacStack Elevated Mascara (full size) – RRP £27
- Iconic London Underglow Blurring Primer (full size) – RRP £26
- No7 Pro Artist Luxe Liquid Blush in Coral (full size) – RRP £14.95
- Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Stix in Fenty Glow (full size) – RRP £24
- Clarins Velvet Cleansing Milk (100ml) – worth £14
- Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eyeshadow (full size) – worth £29, in either Metallic Taupe or Rosegold (selected at random)
There’s also a liquid blush from Boots No7 Pro Artist Range (£14.95) and a Clarins Velvet Cleansing Milk worth £14. Rounding off the edit there’s a Laura Mercier Caviar Stick valued at £29. Shoppers who buy the set will get either Metallic Taupe or Rosegold, though the downside is that it is chosen at random, so buyers can't select their favourite.
Another potential pitfall is that the set is heavily focused on make-up, so shoppers looking for a little more well-rounded, there’s the ASOS Face + Body Travel Essentials Beauty Bag, worth £111 but priced at £42. It contains a mixture of products including a hair oil, dry shampoo and even a sample of the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream.
At OK! Beauty Box, the Getaway Edit is worth over £175 and is priced at £39.99. It stars a £65 Rodial SPF worth more than the box itself, alongside nine other summer-ready products across skincare, SPF, fragrance, wellness and make-up, seven of which are full size.
Whether customers are looking to refresh their make-up bag, try premium brands without paying full price or get a head start on Christmas shopping, this new edit can be found on the Boots website.
