Aldi has launched its Christmas advert for 2026, with Kevin the Carrot returning for a festive mission to find the family's missing dog. The advert was revealed on Thursday, November 5.
Kevin's celebrations are put on hold when the family realises their beloved Cauli Dog has gone missing. The advert opens on a tender note as Chantenay, Kevin's daughter, wishes for the safe return of their beloved floret friend, Cauli Dog.
Kevin and Chantenay's Snowy Search
Kevin and Chantenay put up 'LOST' posters and soon discover a trail of tiny paw prints, leading them into the snow-dusted wilderness to continue their search. Along the way, a well-meaning scarecrow's questionable directions send them briefly off course and bring them face-to-face with what appears to be a grizzly bear, only for it to be revealed as a cuddly squirrel.
Kevin also takes a tumble during the adventure, adding one of the funny moments fans have come to expect from the popular carrot's festive escapades. The paw prints eventually lead them back home, where the Carrot clan searches every corner with a fine-tooth comb before hearing soft snoring coming from inside a Christmas cracker.
Heartwarming Finale and Festive Message
In a heartwarming finale, Chantenay's Christmas wish comes true. Cauli Dog is found safe and sound, with Chantenay declaring: "Cauli, I love you." The advert closes with Aldi's festive endline: "All You Want For Christmas."
Julie Ashfield, chief commercial officer at Aldi UK, said: "Christmas is all about moments that bring loved ones together. This year, Kevin and Chantenay are on a festive 'pawsuit' to bring Cauli Dog home, reminding us that the real magic of Christmas is being together with the people, and pets, we love. We hope their adventure warms hearts across the nation."
Aldi's Christmas advert is scheduled to air on UK television for the first time at 8pm, following another popular advert reveal this week.
Other Festive Advert Reveals
ChronicleLive has previously reported on the John Lewis Christmas advert, with Geordie star Sam Fender performing a cover version of a hit by The Rolling Stones. His version of "You Can't Always Get What You Want" saw him team up with pupils from his former school.
The store's festive advert features actress Dame Kristin Scott Thomas playing a grandma called Gloria and a retro-style toy wooden dog toy, Pickles, voiced by Paul Whitehouse. The two-minute ad sees this childhood toy of hers help to gradually connect with her grandchildren through a thoughtful gift and a festive surprise.
Sam Fender said: "It was a privilege to rework such an iconic song by such a legendary band. In the spirit of Christmas, we re-recorded the children's choir with the kids from my old school, John Spence Community High School, and we arranged a brass section with the Easington Colliery Band."
