There has been some good news for food enthusiasts in Aberdeen this week. A major steakhouse has officially relocated and is once again open for bookings.
Estabulo Rodizio Bar & Grill Returns
Estabulo Rodizio Bar & Grill was a popular hotspot when it opened on the upper floor of the Union Square Mall in 2023, marking its first and only establishment in Scotland. Alongside its tableside service, it was known for its vibrant floral interior, deemed "Instagram worthy."
However, many locals were disappointed when it closed its doors earlier this year. Fortunately, the all-you-can-eat Brazilian eatery has officially reopened in a new city centre venue, boasting "two unique dining experiences under one roof."
New Location on Union Street
Officially reopening its doors on June 6, Aberdonians can now find Estabulo at 38 Union Street. Located next to fellow steakhouse Miller & Carter, it has taken over the unit that formerly housed the Esslemont Bar & Restaurant, which closed last year.
The new premises offer two floors. The upstairs provides the chain's signature Brazilian rodizio service, where waiters continuously circulate the dining room offering a selection of expertly grilled premium meats carved tableside.
Also on the menu is unlimited access to the gourmet salad bar with fresh salads, hot dishes, and traditional Brazilian sides. There is also a selection of vegetarian and fish dishes, ensuring a range of lifestyles and palates are catered for.
Downstairs À La Carte Experience
Downstairs is the à la carte restaurant, serving a "carefully crafted" menu of premium steaks, burgers, alongside the chain's popular Café de Brazil creations, inspired by the classic French butter sauce with a Brazilian twist.
It is worth noting that the Aberdeen branch still marks the only Estabulo Rodizio Bar & Grill in Scotland. The Brazilian eatery operates seven other branches, but these are based in England in areas including Leeds, Doncaster, Darlington, and Norwich.

It is not the only exciting piece of news for Aberdeen's food and drink scene. The silver city has recently welcomed two new trendy hotspots available nowhere else in Scotland. This includes Kaizen, a modern wellness social space and café designed for health-conscious individuals. On Rosemount, the new Slo Living Studio also recently opened, providing an intimate setting with a chic interior of handcrafted homewares and a menu of unique, caffeine-free drinks.
