The Baltic Food Store in Southport has lodged an application to vary its premises licence to sell alcohol for consumption off the premises from 6am to midnight daily.
A public notice published in the Southport Visiter states that Kamaran Tofiq Karim has applied to Sefton Council to vary the premises licence for The Baltic Food Store at 45-47 Eastbank Street, Southport.

The variation seeks permission for the retail sale of alcohol for consumption off the premises from 6am to midnight, Monday to Sunday. The notice says the application can be inspected in person at Magdalen House, 30 Trinity Road, Bootle L20 3NJ, on weekdays from 9am to 3pm by appointment, or via Sefton Council's website.
Written representations must be lodged with the licensing authority by September 15, 2026. The notice also states it is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with a licensing application, which could result in an unlimited fine on conviction.
