Hello Neighbour named UK's fastest-growing lettings agent

Online letting agency Hello Neighbour has been named the UK's fastest-growing lettings agent after recording a 253% increase in turnover over two years. The company, which allows landlords to advertise properties on Rightmove for £29, ranked 94th in the UK Fast Growth Index Top 200 for 2026.

The ranking follows a sharp rise in turnover between 2023 and 2025, as Hello Neighbour seeks to compete with traditional high-street letting agents. The UK Fast Growth Index, run by Ideas Community in partnership with UBS, ranks independent businesses according to percentage turnover growth over two financial years. Organisers verify the figures against Companies House records or through company accountants.

£29 alternative to traditional letting agents

Hello Neighbour operates a lettings platform offering landlords both DIY and fully managed services. Its self-service option costs £29 and includes advertising a rental property on Rightmove. For another £30, landlords can access additional services covering deposits, compliance, tenancy agreements and collection of the first month's rent.

The company also offers a full lettings and property management service for landlords who prefer a more traditional arrangement. Its model combines online technology with lettings staff, allowing landlords to choose how much of the process they handle themselves.

Turnover up 253%

Hello Neighbour's 253% turnover growth covers the period from 2023 to 2025. The company says it has continued expanding since the Index's measurement period ended. Richard Jenkins, CEO of Hello Neighbour, said: "To be named the UK's fastest-growing lettings agent by an independent index, using verified accounts, means a great deal to everyone here."

"The figures behind the ranking stop at the end of 2025, and we have carried that momentum into this year. Landlords want lower costs and better results, and so demand is only growing." The ranking comes as online letting platforms continue to challenge traditional agency fee structures. However, Hello Neighbour has not disclosed its current turnover, profit figures or the number of landlords using its services.

Fast Growth Index

The 2026 UK Fast Growth Index features 350 businesses, including a national Top 200 ranking. Together, the companies increased their combined turnover from £4.3bn in 2023 to £10.2bn in 2025, a rise of 137%. Professor Dylan Jones-Evans, founder of the Index, said: "Hello Neighbour is a great example of the extraordinary talent and ambition we see in businesses across every part of the UK."

The company's ranking highlights the growth of its low-cost lettings model, although the Index measures turnover growth rather than profitability or market share.
