Scotland has four remaining bank holidays in 2026, with dates consistent across the country. These include substitute days when a holiday falls on a weekend.
Remaining 2026 Scottish Bank Holidays
The four bank holidays left in 2026 are:
- August 3, Monday – Summer bank holiday
- November 30, Monday – St Andrew's Day
- December 25, Friday – Christmas Day
- December 28, Monday – Boxing Day (substitute day)
December 28 is a substitute day because Boxing Day falls on a Saturday, so the holiday moves to the following Monday.
