How the New Lotto Game Works
Under the new Lotto game, each ticket gives players two chances to win per draw. Every Wednesday and Saturday Lotto draw now features two rounds, meaning two opportunities to win a prize with every line of numbers played, at no extra cost.
Where the Money Goes
Since the first draw on November 19, 1994, the UK National Lottery has allocated approximately half of all ticket sales to prizes, 28% to good causes, 12% to government duty, 5% to retailers, and 5% to the operator.
