Murray Landscapes, a family-run landscaping company based in Motherwell, has become the 100th business to achieve North Lanarkshire Council's Employer Charter accreditation. The company received a Gold Award, the highest recognition under the scheme, for demonstrating exceptional commitment to fair work principles.
Employer Charter Commitments
The Employer Charter is built on four key commitments: paying all staff the Real Living Wage, employing North Lanarkshire residents, using local businesses in the supply chain where possible, and ensuring fair work practices that attract and retain employees. Businesses that meet two or more of these commitments receive bronze, silver, or gold accreditation.
