Manchester City have reportedly initiated contact with Tottenham Hotspur over a potential summer move for full-back Pedro Porro. The 26-year-old Spaniard, who has been with Spurs for three and a half years, is valued at around £50 million by the north London club.
According to Spanish publication AS, City are keen to strengthen their right flank, a position often filled by Matheus Nunes this season. Porro, a former City player who never made a senior appearance for the club, has emerged as a primary target. Tottenham are aware of City's interest and have set a minimum asking price £10 million higher than the £40 million they paid Sporting CP for his services in January 2023.
Porro endured a challenging campaign but improved after the March international break under manager Roberto De Zerbi, featuring 46 times across all competitions in 2025/26, scoring twice and providing six assists. He played a key role in Spurs' Europa League triumph last season and has made over 150 appearances for the club.
Despite the speculation, Porro dismissed talk of a departure earlier this week, stating: 'I have a contract with Tottenham. I haven't even had time to glance over. We've been focused until the last minute. I don't want to hear anything; I want to switch off and enjoy myself.' His immediate focus is on the upcoming World Cup with Spain.
