Royal Mail Postie's 'Disrespectful' Parcel Delivery Sparks Fury on TikTok

A TikTok user has shared a video showing a Royal Mail postman's confusing parcel delivery, which has sparked a debate online. Kaiyu Lin received a red card stating his parcel had been left near the 'side of [the] blue bin', but he does not own a blue bin.

In the clip, Kaiyu zooms in on the red card before panning out to reveal his dark green bins. He then moves the camera to show the parcel was actually left near his blue car, not a blue bin. Over the footage, he jokingly added the words 'The disrespect'.

The caption read: 'Postman woke up and chose violence'. The video attracted numerous comments from fellow TikTok users sharing their own humorous delivery mishaps. One user recalled an email notification saying 'handed to resident', but the parcel was beside a bin, joking they had never been mistaken for a bin.

Another commenter said their postman takes photos of their dogs barking in the window as proof of delivery. Some users speculated that Kaiyu might have written the note himself for entertainment, but Royal Mail's policy states that if a recipient is not home, a red card is left with instructions for redelivery or details of a safe location.
