The deal is available exclusively through the Pizza Hut app, between 11am and 4pm on weekdays, and requires collection in person. A drink can be added for an extra £1.
Reaction to the price
Commenters described the offer as "outrageous" given that rival firms charge comparable amounts for a sandwich. One person said: "That's got to be the most calories per pound meal deal you can get. Outrageous for under a fiver." Another added: "Good deal, I get it for lunch quite often. Cheaper than a meal deal but for a warm pizza, no brainer."
