Fans of cleaning guru Mrs Hinch have shared a budget-friendly tip for removing marks from walls, using a product that costs just £1 each. The advice came after Facebook user Ella O'Brien asked for help with grubby walls caused by her children.
In a popular cleaning group, O'Brien wrote: “Does anyone have any secret tips for getting rid of marks on walls? My little darlings constantly have their hands on the walls it drives me mad.” The post was flooded with responses from fellow cleaning enthusiasts.
Many recommended using a magic eraser sponge. Annette Woolfson advised: “Rub gently with a slightly dampened magic eraser.” Flash Magic Eraser Extra Power Cleaner is available at Sainsbury's for £2 for two, making it just £1 each. The product claims to remove tough stains like crayon and grease.
Other suggestions included diluted fabric conditioner, wet wipes, and washing powder mixed with hot water. Some users noted that while magic erasers are effective, they may require repainting after repeated use.
