Aldi is introducing a new batch of Special Buys on Thursday, August 13, featuring autumn-themed homeware and garden items. Among the highlights is the £2.69 Autumn Jar Candle from its Hotel Collection, which the supermarket says offers a "soft flickering glow" ideal for relaxing evenings.
Candle range with seasonal scents
The candle comes in three scents: Apple Orchard, Acorn and Oak, and Pecan and Cinnamon Waffle. Aldi's product description states: "Capture the essence of autumn with every burn. Rich seasonal aromas and a soft, flickering glow bring warmth and comfort to any space."
Also arriving is the £3.99 Autumn Wood Lid Reed Candle, available in Pecan and Cinnamon Waffle, Pumpkin Spice, or Fallen Leaves fragrances. Diffuser options will also be offered. Aldi says: "Fill your home with the warmth of autumn. Housed in a stylish vessel with a natural wood lid, this candle/reed diffuser adds a cosy seasonal touch while creating a welcoming atmosphere perfect for crisp autumn days and relaxing evenings."
Larger candle and pumpkin-shaped option
Shoppers can also purchase a large 2.1kg Autumn Hurricane Candle for £19.99 in Pumpkin Spice or Fallen Leaves. Aldi describes it as: "Bring the warmth of the season into your home with our Autumn Hurricane Candle. Designed to create a cosy glow, this elegant candle is perfect for adding a touch of autumn charm to any room, making crisp evenings feel even more inviting."
For those preferring pumpkin-shaped décor, the £5.99 Fall Icon Candle comes in white or orange pumpkin-shaped holders. Aldi says: "Add a cosy autumn touch with our pumpkin-shaped candle, perfect for creating a warm and inviting seasonal atmosphere. A charming piece for fall décor and gifting."
Garden Tidy range for winter preparation
The same day, Aldi's Garden Tidy range will include a £39.99 Manual Sweeper, described as "powerful" and making clearing leaves, twigs, and debris an "absolute breeze." The store claims its lightweight design ensures "high-speed garden clean-ups."
Also available is the £14.99 Winter Greenhouse, designed to protect plants during colder months. Aldi says: "This handy haven is perfect for shielding delicate flowers and shrubs from the harsh elements, ensuring they stay healthy and bloom again next spring. With a simple roll-up door, it’s easy to access and provides vital protection without taking up too much garden space."
