Stoke and Portsmouth Battle for Dundee Star Luke Graham

Stoke City and Portsmouth are both locked in talks with Dundee over defender Luke Graham, with the English Championship pair pushing with major seven-figure bids. Dundee have made it clear they want £2m for the 22-year-old, including add-ons, after turning down a club-record £1.5m offer from Portsmouth in January.

Portsmouth and Stoke Lead the Chase

Portsmouth have been pursuing Graham for several months and have now been joined by Stoke City in recent weeks. The two sides are in the driving seat to land the promising young defender, who is currently in Hungary with Dundee on their pre-season camp. Graham is waiting to see what develops and whether Dundee will grant him permission to open talks with either club.

Rangers Also Monitoring

Rangers also made a real push under Danny Rohl and continue to monitor Graham's situation closely, though there has been no direct contact between Rangers and Dundee. Graham, who is in the final year of his contract, was a standout in the Scottish Premiership last season. His form saw him shortlisted for the PFA (Scotland) young player of the year award and earned him a call-up by Steve Clarke for Scotland’s pre-World Cup squad. He was on the bench for the win over Curacao.
