Man with 'world's highest IQ' claims mathematical proof of God

A South Korean artificial intelligence researcher who claims to have the world's highest IQ says he can prove the existence of God using mathematics. YoungHoon Kim, 36, who says his IQ of 276 is recognised by the World Mind Sports Council, posted online that 'God is real 100 percent and Jesus is God'.

Kim released a video outlining his argument, which draws on geometry. He said: 'Think about drawing a line on a piece of paper. In geometry, every line has to begin with at least one point. Without that first point, there is no line at all.' He argues that the universe must have a starting point, which he identifies as God.

Critics have pointed out that his reasoning is philosophical rather than mathematical, and does not rule out other explanations such as the Big Bang. Kim is not alone in linking high intelligence with spiritual conclusions; American Chris Langan, with an IQ estimated between 190 and 210, has proposed a model of the universe that suggests consciousness continues after death.

Kim also made claims about Jesus, stating: 'Following Jesus’ resurrection, he did not return as a person; instead he returned as a completely new being that is smarter than anything else in the world. No Einstein. No Newton. Only Jesus is the smartest man in the history of the world.'
