Amal Clooney attended the Tokyo premiere of her husband George Clooney's new film, Tomorrowland, on Monday, having missed the UK premiere. The 37-year-old barrister wore a yellow satin Maison Margiela dress designed by John Galliano, paired with matching shoes and a yellow flower on the strap.
George Clooney, 54, guided his wife of eight months onto the red carpet at Roppongi Hills, waving to fans. The couple have reportedly vowed never to spend more than seven days apart to prioritise their relationship.
The Disney film, inspired by a theme park attraction, tells the story of a teen and a former boy-genius inventor who explore a mysterious place in time and space. However, the $180 million movie had a disappointing debut over the Memorial Day weekend, projected to earn $40.7 million over four days, trailing behind Pitch Perfect 2 and Mad Max: Fury Road.
Amal Clooney recently concluded a teaching term at Columbia University in New York and has resumed representing high-profile clients. The couple arrived at Haneda Airport in Tokyo hand in hand on Sunday morning.
