Freely, the streaming TV service from Everyone TV, has announced a major update as its viewer numbers surge. The platform, which launched in 2024, is now watched by around two million users and is on track to become the UK's biggest TV platform by 2030, according to its operator.
Channel Expansion
At launch, Freely offered a limited number of live channels, but that number has now increased to over 70. This expansion comes thanks to a swathe of new services launching in recent weeks.
New additions include TLC, Quest, Really, Quest Red, Food Network, and 11 new channels from Channel 5. ITV has also added The Chase and Saturday Night Every Night, offering more quizzes, games, and talent shows.

What is Freely?
Freely is a TV service delivered via internet streaming rather than traditional over-the-air signals. Compatible devices use broadband and Wi-Fi to access live entertainment, sports, and movies, making it ideal for flats or homes without aerial access.
The service includes on-demand content, a 7-day guide, and a Mini Guide for quick channel access. A standout feature is the ability to pause live TV for up to 15 minutes.
Initially available on a limited number of TVs, Freely is now pre-installed on models from Hisense, Sharp, Philips, JVC, and Panasonic. Set-top boxes like the Pleio Puck also bring Freely to older TVs.
