Amazon has slashed £30 off Apple's AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation as part of its Spring Deal Days sale, bringing the price down to £139 until March 16. This undercuts rivals including Apple, Argos and Very, all of which still charge the original £169.
The AirPods 4 are the latest standard-generation earbuds from Apple, and this particular model features Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) for an immersive listening experience. New features include Conversation Awareness, which lowers volume when you speak; Adaptive Audio, which tailors ANC to your environment; and Spatial Audio for a surround-sound effect.
Apple has also redesigned the earbuds for improved comfort, and the charging case is claimed to be the smallest of its kind. Battery life reaches up to 30 hours total, with five hours from a single charge. Other specs include IP54 water resistance and 'Find My' compatibility for tracking via iPhone or iPad.
More than 20,000 customer reviews on Amazon give the AirPods 4 a 4.6-star rating. One buyer called them 'incredible', praising the ANC and sound quality. Another noted they are 'comfortable to wear and stay in well'. However, a reviewer warned that they work best within the Apple ecosystem, saying 'good luck getting it to do that on anything else'.
For those not wishing to buy outright, Sky Mobile offers the same model for £5.50 per month, but that requires a 36-month contract.
