Merseyside's first floating padel courts are finally opening. Vibora Liverpool Waters will launch this weekend, on Saturday, September 26, at Princes Dock.
The new venue offers views of the Liver Building and the city's historic docklands while players get involved in one of the fastest-growing sports on offer. The venue is complete with two floating padel courts and a clubhouse, giving visitors a place to play, socialise and relax by the water.
Courts and opening hours
A third court is planned for later this year. Vibora Liverpool Waters will be open seven days a week from 7am to 10pm. Players will be able to book courts during the day and into the evening, when Liverpool's waterfront lights up.

From the very beginning, we wanted to create something that was about much more than padel. We wanted to build a destination and a community that people genuinely want to be part of.
Community and future plans
“Liverpool's waterfront is such a special setting and we wanted Vibora Liverpool Waters to give people a completely new way to experience padel. The response has been brilliant and it's shown us just how much appetite there is for padel in the city.
“This is only the beginning for Vibora Liverpool Waters. We have our third floating court coming later this year and lots more planned as we continue to grow the community and create something really special here in the city centre.”
The venue is part of the wider Liverpool Waters regeneration project, led by Peel Waters. More than £5bn is being invested in transforming Liverpool's northern docks with new homes, businesses, leisure facilities and public spaces.
Bookings and memberships
Vibora Liverpool Waters is open to beginners and experienced players. Court bookings cost £55 for 60 minutes and can be made through Playtomic.
The venue also offers individual and corporate memberships, as well as space for private events. The launch follows the release of 75 Founding Memberships, which gave early members priority booking and other benefits.
