The Formula 1 calendar turns to Azerbaijan this coming weekend as the teams head to the Baku City Circuit for the next round of action. The race gets underway on Saturday to avoid a clash with the nation's national Remembrance Day.
Championship Race Intensifies
That means everything has shifted a day earlier as Kimi Antonelli hopes to extend his 81-point championship lead once again after wins in Monza and Madrid. Baku is often host to one of the more incident-packed races, as Oscar Piastri discovered 12 months ago when he crashed out on the opening lap while leading the title race.
Antonelli's rivals' hopes will soon be extinguished if they cannot dramatically close the gap, with the dreams of reigning champions Lando Norris, Ferrari star Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes team-mate George Russell hanging by a thread.
Triple-Header Ahead
The trip to Baku is the start of a triple-header, which will see teams head to Malaysia and Singapore as we enter the final eight races of the season.
